Trapped in a Living Dream
Her hair was the colors of old warn down bricks; browns and blonds warned for dominance with red, she wore it curled and piled on top of her head to accent the bejeweled silver tiara that matched her black and silver high heels. Her eyes were the color of a sea caught in a raging storm blues and greens mixing to form a washed out hazel like color that was almost gray, they were her father's eyes. Even in her plainness she glowed. She looked up at her prom date and her happiness radiating from her like a tangible thing that moved along her skin. Her dress was had been picked out with such care, it's layered lavender and silver sheers clung to her willow frame as she stood still next to his side her smile as radiant as the sun as it sank below the tree line setting a golden pink glow to the world.
